Solo female travel and scuba certification - Thailand

Jump to last reply

Hi there. I'm going to be traveling to Thailand in the spring, and wanted to complete my scuba certification while I was there. I'll be traveling alone, not looking to party at all (want something relaxing and low-key), and on a budget. I'm also interested in some hiking and birding. Does anyone have any recommendations? Which coast is better - Andaman Sea or Gulf of Thailand? I'll also spend a few days in Bangkok.

Any suggestions would be great!
