Solo F Traveller 25yrs 15th August 2014- 11th September 2014

Hi guys, I will be travelling to Thailand soon spending the first 6 days in Bangkok with my friend following which I shall be travelling solo.i am staying in Phuket for 3 nights, koh phi phi for 3 nights and ko lok lai for 3 aswell before heading onto koh Samui for 5 nights and koh for 4 nights also before back to koh samui for a night and bangkok for another night before flying back home. Was just wondering if there were any trips and sites people would recommend for me to see while in these places and also if anyone else is going to be in Thailand in these areas during this time? It would be great to meet some people especially in koh phangnan as I will be there during the full moon party on 9th September so would be cool to meet some people to go with.

Look forward to everyone's replies, thanks H x

Phuket and Phi Phi get a lot of rain in this period.

Fmp is famous for drink spiking, theft and rapes. As a single female you need to be careful.

I would consider flying north rather than doing 15n on islands unless you love beaches.

Khao Lak will be very quiet at this time. Strong winds and rain.

That makes 18n near beaches which is a lot.

You might like Chiang Mai, Pai and Nong Khai. Read up on those places if you want more than just beaches. Also Kanchanaburi near Bangkok is good.

I think I would consider fewer locations for longer times..

Are beaches the only thing you are interested in?

You've also chosen to spend a fair amount of time on The Andaman Sea which will be wet and beaches are likely to be red-flagged. Take a look at www.weatherbase.com

If I wanted a lot of beach time it would mean I wanted time to relax. Moving around that much will not be very relaxing and you will lose most/part of a day each time you change locations.

Thanks for the responses but I already have my trip planned so won't be changing anything, just wondering if anyone else will be travelling in those places while I'm there?
