Snake Charmers in Galle???

Jump to last reply

The current issue of Conde Nast Traveler (I know, well out of my price range, but the subscription was cheap) is a special, all about Asia. Once you get past the editor who took the twelve country trip being described, and who thinks she packed light by taking one 28 inch suitcase and 27 books, the first destination is Sri Lanka. And the first picture on the first page is of snake charmers in Galle. I didn't see any snake charmers in Galle, nor anywhere else in Sri Lanka, and I didn't expect to (avoided them in Marrakesh instead). Did anyone else?

The facing page is taken up with a picture of a boy diving off the walls of Galle. I didn't see that either. Anyone else?
