Sita tours vs Yatrik

We are 2 couples planning our trip to India. We are going deluxe. We are considering these two companies. Any suggestions?

We used Yatrik (and worked with Ajay) and had an excellent trip. Ajay was thoughtful, informed, always helpful, and very personable. You'd be in very good hands if you decided on Yatrik. Our trip was in 2010, and we were mainly in Rajasthan, but also went to Varanesi.

we went two years ago--almost exactly! We left in late November and traveled for 18 days--here's where we stayed and traveled:

26/29 November Delhi Imperial - Imperial Room OK
29/30 November Agra ITC Mughal - Mughal Chamber Room OK
30 Nov/03 December Jaipur Samode Haveli - Deluxe Suite OK
03/04 December Chatra sagar Chatra Sagar - Luxury Tent OK
04/06 December Jodhpur Ratan Vilas - Deluxe Room OK
06/10 December Udaipur Leela Kempinski - Lake View Room OK
10/11 December Varanasi Nadesar Palace - Palace Room OK
11/12 December Varanasi Palace on River - Deluxe Room OK
12/13 December Varanasi Nadesar Palace - Palace Room OK
13/14 December Delhi Grand - Day Us

And Yatrik arranged local guides for us throughout; Ajay gave us a choice of hotels in each city, although there were some that we picked out (Delhi Imperial, Palace on the River--) and always came up with great suggestions when we wanted to do something somewhat off the beaten track. Originally, we had wanted to go to the foothills of the Himalayas, but not to Shimla, and he came up with a very appealing itinerary. Eventually, we had to decide against it for various personal reasons...but it took a lot of time on Ajay's part, and he was ALWAYS accommodating, helpful and resourceful.
