Singapore - Small hotel

Jump to last reply

I will be traveling to Singapore in late November. Although there are plenty of big hotel choices, I'd really like to stay in a smaller, boutique hotel, preferably close to Marina Bay. Does anyone have one that they'd recommend? I don't have a huge budget, but would pay up to $300/350 SGD for the right place.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Warm greetings, internet wiz, and congratulations on forthcoming journey to our fine home of Singapore.

One of numerous SIN "boutique" lodging options for you is the Naumi Hotel. (And immediate disclosure: we are friends with some fine individuals involved with the property.) Mind you, have never stayed overnight at the hotel, but all of my (our) experiences with her staff, public spaces, and offerings have been most acceptable. And, some rather discerning friends speak highly of their Naumi stay a few months back. More lodging suggestions via: yoursingapore dot com/ (Should you ultimately decide to go bigger with your SIN lodging, will give the ongoing highest praise to my old SIN business travel property, the Four Seasons, as well as a fairly recent "staycation" at Raffles, as noted on my profile page.)

[And should travels take you - and others - to beloved Bangkok, a truly sublime boutique property called The Siam remained as refined as ever last month for post-BKK meetings weekend rendezvous. Some rather attractive Bangkok lodging offers at present.]

A bit rushed with work-related travel this early morning, so more to follow; any airline suggestions, honoured to assist. Savour your planning and good travels to you and all,

    macintosh (robert)
