OMG - after watching that video, I'm starving!
Yummmm!
I e-mailed the link to myself for future reference.
Singapore and great food go together. Happy Travels!
Oh my, that looks yummy. Can I get some of that chicken rice now?
For shame, I need to get to Singapore ASAP.
Was in Singapore recently, wish I could have some of the food NOW.
OMG - now I have to put Singapore on my list!
Short layover in SIN in Oct - will check out Maxwell Center for the chicken dish - not brave enough for the red mutton soup and marrow through a straw. I can always get excited about food!
Nice short video! Another dish not mentioned is the Bak Kut Teh, another Chinese dish which the Singaporean do very well. Good breakfast dish and found all around the city but best in the old district and you will see people line up waiting for tables in the morning.
video unavailable.
Check again, Ken - it takes a few moments to load.
and the reason you posted this a week after my return from singapore instead of a week before my departure is.....
Oh BOb. I knew you wouldn't want me to spoil the ending of your food discovery story!
(Plus, it just came out....)
Want to see something that will REALLY make you want to go back? TRy this food blog. in the directory colum on the right side, you can look up reviews based on the type of food, hours of operation, main ingredient, name of dish, 10 best, etc. There are "how to" cooking videos, recipes, even occasional feasts; sort of their version of a GTG.
