Hi!
I've finally booked my ticket and will be in Singapore beginning September. Will soon book my hotel.. I have explored many different hotels. I have to now decide between two final hotel possibilities:
Hotel Rendezvous http://www.rendezvoushotels.com/
Superior room with 1 breakfast SGD 125.00 +++
Merchant Court http://www.swissotel.com/ms-basics.asp?id=25
Superior Single S$ 140.00
According to you, which would be the best?
I don't really care about room size, as I will be alone and just for a few nights. I like to be well placed (easy access to different areas of the city with MRT), etc.. Thanks a lot!

They are totqally different parts of town. Renzesvous is up at Dhoby Ghaut withis is one stop on MRT to top of Orchard Road, there's a small mall nearby. Merchant Court is Ralles Place/Clarke Quay area so both different. The Excelsior is just a few minutes walk from City Hall MRT as an example and that should be around SGD 110. The Allson is near Bugis Street and quite convenient and that's around the 110 mark.
The Rendezvous if just a 'little' away though with MRT it's easy but to get the feel of being right in town the others might be better.
I've stayed at the Allson and Rendezvous out of those mentioned, I doubt I would do the Rendezvous again.
