Should I still go to Laos?

Jump to last reply

So, I just schedule my flights and I have about 13 days to go to Laos from Bangkok.
I initially thought I would have more time and my itinerary it's just not possible anymore. I'm considering leaving Laos but after so many time researching and dreaming about those places I'm having a hard time letting it go. My initial plan was to do mostly northern Laos, adding places like Luang Namtha, Muang Sing, Nong Khiaw, Muang Ngoi to the typical LP-VV-VNT route. Now I'm thinking I don't have time to do Laos justice and since I don't really like flying a lot just the travel time between places would eat all my time. So, is there any route, worth taking, within my time-frame or should I leave Laos for some other time and focus in Thailand instead? I'll go to Burma after and that flight is already booked.
