Shanghai - Travel to/from city

Jump to last reply

I'm planning my first trip to Shanghai. I'm arriving into PVG airport and planning to take the MagLev to the terminus station, then taxi to hotel in city center. I figure it's worth a try to get on something going 200+ mph. Anyway, wondering are there plenty of taxi at the Longyang Station? I read somewhere most taxi are legit but 'watchout for the ones at this station' - Is that true?

Another question is I will leave shanghai and return again from Nanjing via train travel. What is the best way to book train tickets? Is there a hefty upcharge at the hotel or should I visit a nearby travel agency close to the hotel (recommended in a guidebook) - will need to buy 3 tix?

Thanks in advance.
