Serviced Apts or Hotels

Hi, my family and I, made up of 4 pple, are visiting hong kong in Mid feb'08. And we are nt sure if its more economical to stay in serviced apts or hotels at tht time. And also which are the most convenient locations to stay in if we are comin from Macau? We will b arrivin on 18 Feb ard 7-7.30pm as our flight will land ard 5.30pm. Kindly advise....
