Serendipity Srilanka

Jump to last reply

Its said that Adam was cast out of heaven and he was thrown here. If an 'original sin ' can earn the 'first man' a holiday on a dream island like Lanka,I would forgo heaven. That's what I intend to do in a couple of weeks. Serendip beckons.

A sinful week at the end of August.Plan to indulge in gastronomical delights, wild wonders, historical treasures ( not much this time) and magnificent beaches.

My first trip years ago took me towards the mountains. Kandy, Nuwara Eilaya , Sigiraya, The second time around was the southern circuit. Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Galle, Mirissa Yala. This time around, the north, planning Wilpattu NP, Dambulla ( enroute) and largely the beaches in Trinco.

Seeking recommendations on places to stay( on the beach- Uppuvelli) and things to do in Trinco.

Thx.
