Sanur: Favorite Things to Do and See
Looks like we will stay here for a couple of nights, either before or after Ubud. Can we use it as a base to do daytrips out to the east? Welcome comments on good places to eat and drink. Any snorkling or hiking spots?

We were just in Sanur.
Take a look at my ridiculously long trip report. It is a very pleasant beach. We had a decent Italian meal at The Village on the main drag. Yes, you can do trips out to East Bali from Sanur. The beach path is really nice for running or strolling.

it is very easy to take day trips to any part of bali from sanur...easier from ubud however--its more central...
sanur is full of shops and nice restaurants...
the village, while pricey for bali, is still a bargain and very delicious....
you might want to contact putu to assist with your getting around bali...www.mybalifriend.net
