Royal Paintings of Jodpur in Seattle

There is an exhibit of the Royal Paintings of Jodpur currently on display at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The paintings are truly stunning. The exhibit is here in Seattle through April 26.

Since the exhibit was organized by the Sackler Gallery and the Mehrangarh Museum Trust of India, I expect it will travel to other venues. Do see it if you can!

Thanks for the info. Maybe they'll move east to include Boston.

Since the Sackler was one of the organizers, I expect it will travel to the Sackler in Washington, DC. But I expect there may be other stops as well.

Kathie: thanks for posting this.

Unfortunately, the exhibit will be available in only four cities: Washington DC, Seattle, London and back to New Delhi by the end of 2009. (I was hoping it would come here to California)

For those who have been/will be lucky enough to see this exhibit - enjoy!
