Any suggestions on romantic restaurants in Singapore? Thanks!

Les Amis at the botanical gardens is very romantic. Food is pretty good to excellent. Service excellent. Prices are high.

Another really good place is Bice at the Goodwood Park Hotel. Perhaps not as romantic a setting as Les Amis but very, very good food and service. I would highly recommend Bice. Again, not cheap but a nice way to spend dinner.

You lucky you. I'm the foremost romantic restaurant expert of Singapore.
For french food, try the les amis group. They have the "lighthouse" at the top floor of the fullerton hotel.Only 9 tables but brilliant food and views. Its chef, justin quek won s'pores best chef award (S$200per person for dinner). I agree with lynn that "les amis au jardin" at the botanic garden is the most romantic r'rant set in a black and white bungalow amist beautiful gardens. I consider the food there the best in s'pore.(S$200/person).Ask for table 1 or 2.There is also "le aglie d'or" at the duxton hotel which has good food and setting in a renovated conservation shophouse boutique hotel(S$100/person). "Salut" along tanjong pagar rd is famous for its 2 michelin star chef and has sexy drapes and deep colour setting altho i think les amis has better food (S$100/person.La Fete has a nice italian villa setting with a big painted wall inside. It has only 10 tables and the food is very good.I vote this place best value for money($80).It is like a hideaway in the vity. For Italian there is Michaelangelo in Holland Village which is romantic in a cosy way.You can sit under a tree in a quiet neighbourhood while eating the fat chef's fabulous pasta.(S$80) You can also try "Paladino di Firenze" at Mohd Sultan road in a Florentine setting. They use opulent silk drapes over old sewing machines as tables. The food is good but not as good as its sisiter r'rant, La Fete."Da Paolo e Judie" on Neil Rd has excellent seafood dishes which are as good as their other r'rants at Club St and Tg Pagar Road. All 3 in conservation shophouse setting (S$80).For Japanese there is only one r'rant to consider romantic with excellent food."Shiro" at Greenwood estate is a place you wouldn't know existed. Reservations only policy the setting is minimalist post modernism. They serve the freshest sashimi this side the Pacific. I call it Singapore's Nobu. Go for the degustation menu. (S$100).These are my favourite romantic r'rants in SIngapore. I have many recommendations for good food in good setting but those above are the best in my opinion.you can e-mail me if you'd like to know more.
