Private Villa

My husband and I stayed in some awesome villas in Bali and now we would like to do the same in Thailand. Can someone recommend a nice place to stay that has a private villas. I want to avoid the big resorts. We want to stay somewhere relaxing yet has stuff to do and has good food. We are traveling in November if that helps. Thanks for your help.

Phuket has a good selection of private luxury villas with full service.

We are also looking for villas in Thailand. Isn't it best to avoid Phuket or does it have some nice areas? I have heard a lot of Phuket is overcrowded and seedy. Is it possible to find quieter areas off the beaten path there?

Gollum, Phuket absolutely has quieter areas! Me stay over the new year holiday on Mai Khao beach (Marriott has several resorts and time shares on this beach). We really like the Marriott Phuket Beach Club, 2-bedroom condo.

Not sure about villas, but yes, Phuket has its quieter areas, even during the absolute peak season!

Phuket is huge. There are quiet areas as well as very busy areas.
