With so many of you in Bangkok, some of you may want to take in the Ploenchit Fair this Saturday. The fair is an annual charity event put on by the British community (but anyone can go). There's always lots of food, a lot of things for kids to do, carnival games and craft booths. It's all for charity. I won my bike there a few years ago from Spice Roads, for a 100 Baht raffle ticket.
The fair is held at Shrewsbury International school, which is right on the river next to Chatrium Suites. Given the weather, it should be a very nice day out. To get there, just take the Skytrain to Taksin Bridge, and there will be free boats at the hotel pier to the event. There's a small admission fee (100 Baht or so).
I'll be freezing my ... off in Shanghai, so I won't be there.
