Planning a 6 week trip South east asia trip, looking for advice/tips

Jump to last reply

I'm planning a 6 week trip starting March 2012. I plan on flying into either Hanoi and working my way down or just begin in Bangkok, I want to see southern Thailand, Papau new guinea and then fly out from Sydney.

Does anybody have any suggestions of "must see" places along the way or places to stay away from. Are there any dangerous areas to avoid along this path?

Thanks so much in advance!
