Places to visit in India in October

October is the month of festivals in India. Almost all states of India celebrate some or the other festivity in this month. Gujarat celebrates Navaratri, West Bengal celebrates Durga Puja, North India celebrates Dussehra. If you are traveling to India in October this year, which places would you like to visit?

Must see October festival:

1) Dusshera
2) Deepawali

These are the 2 festivals which should be seen if anyone is in India during this time. Both festivals have their own significance, own importance. People of India celebrate these festivals with a lot of joy, sweets, dressing up, eating out. I have experienced both these during my visit to India. I was delighted. If any one going to India, during this time, you must be a part of these festivals.

Cheers!!

you should visit Rajasthan and if possible visit Gujarat too. You will be able to experience the tribal, local people. the lifetstyle of these people. October, will witness many festivals such as Dusshera, Diwali, Navratri. If you want to see the folk dance of local during Navratri then visit Gujarat, surat any place. you will be able to enjoy the real festival there. In Diwali, people celebrate by lighting candles, distributing gifts and sweets. people get dressed up beautifully to enjoy the festival.
