Has anyone experienced the Afternoon tea at the Penn?
How was it? What is served, at what time. Is this a dress up affair?

Burma features "Alice in Wonderland"

it was fabulous..you would have thought that you were in london...i think everyone was dressed normally...men
hort sleeve shirts and slacks (not shorts); women: blouse and skirt or slacks; both wore shoes
there were a few sandwiches, but mostly it was sweets and a nice variety...it came on a three tiered plate tray and there was a choice of coffee or tea as i remember....
it is served in the lobby "bar" area with a lovely view out onto the patio and the river and across to the oriental...
i will be doing it again next trip..
note: there were no thais there, only foreigners....
it was november when we were last there and we did not make a reservation, but perhaps that would be a good idea...
try jester for dinner...expensive but good...i have not tried the chinese restaurant but it gets rave reviews..on lower level..
go for it!!!
forgot about time...think it is 2:30-4:30 or something similar....they serve lunch in that area i think and frink and maybe some food in the evening so this is in between
