MARVELLOUS food to be tasted in the only JuChunYuan resturant outside China that is now located in Asia's gourmet capital -Singapore. I love the melon poached in orange juice and zest, so refreshing, it will revive you like a cappuccino. Other dishes include shark's fin in a super tasty broth and unique delights which are pure and simple in cooking style but very flavoursome. Deep Fried Cod Fillet in a tangy sauce is beautiful too. As Dr. Michael Lim The Travelling Gourmet, I was privileged to be the first to taste the culinary creations of the Chef Lin imported from China, like much of the ingredients. The cuisine is NOT Cantonese but is from a little known sub zone of Guangzhou. Try it when you are in Singapore. The restaurant called Spring JuChunYuan is located in Far East Square.
Enjoy!

Never heard of it, but looking at their website, they serve Min cuisine from Fujian Province. Not Cantonese, and not subzone of Guangzhou. It's a large province to the NE of Guangdong, facing the Taiwan Straight.
