One day extension in Tokyo after 2 day business trip

Hi. I'm scheduled for a 2 day business trip again to Tokyo around late October/early November. I've been on a similar trip to Tokyo before ; and like then, I'll be staying in a hotel near the Ginza area. These are the only times I've been to Japan ; and all i saw was the hotel and the office. I went to the fish market at 4am but all the slots were already filled up.

I'm thinking of extending the business trip by 24 hours (the maximum, unfortunately) to see even a bit more of Tokyo. Any suggestions/recommendations for what I ShOULD visit/see/experience if I had this one day (leaving for the airport around 6pm) ?

I was considering the IMperial Palace but not sure if it's worth it since it'll be closed.

I'm more inclined towards cultural, natural beauty type of attractions instead of shopping, big buildings, museums.

Thanks!
