Noi Bai Airport Taxi to Hanoi City ?

Hi,
We just arrived in Hanoi via Noi Bai airport. It was a set cost at the official taxi stand: 250,000 VND. We exchanged some money at the airport. We did not reserve but used Noi Bai Taxi. Looking back now, I wished we would have arranged a pickup through our hotel just for the peace of mind... as this was our first time in Hanoi. I would suggest doing so if the cost difference is nominal.

Hi OP,
Hmm, I think and hope Vietnam Airlines still offers the shared van shuttle between the airport and their offices near the southwest corner of Hoan Kiem Lake.
Might be worth your while to double check if this service is still avialable since it is an econmical way to get into central Hanoi.
