I trust you mean you are 63 and not that 63 women are going...
Independent travel in SEA is easy, aside from Myanmar and Bhutan. I am 65 and traveling independently, click on my name for links to my blog and website - take a look at my asia2002 trip on wilhelmswords.com. There are recent TRs here for Myanmar and Bhutan which you should read. What guidebooks are you using?
some of those places require visas so you need to plan for that..
talk to us about budget?? that we can help more... how long is the trip? how much time in each place??
Independent travel is easy in SE Asia (though not allowed in Bhutan (you have to have a guide with you at all times). The biggest hazard you'll face is trying to do too much. You've listed 12 countries... do you have at least a year for this part of your trip? If not, you'll need to do some editing. Choose your stops carefully, and have no illusions that you can "see it all."
For instance, your first stop is Bali - delightful place. You'll want yo spend a couple of weeks in Bali, then the rest of Indonesia can take months. But you can only get a 60 day visa.
You have lots of research to do. Specific questions will get you specific answers.
