Hey everyone,

my boyfriend and i are travelling to kathmandu in July this year (4th till the 27th July) for the first time, any advice would be great! We are only 19 and 23, so this is very exciting for us!

anyone done wwoofing over there, and if so how hard is the work, any families you would advise are better than others?

What the weather might be like? What to wear? especially what should females wear?, where to stay? any local guides or tours to reccommend? what are some 'must-haves' to pack? just anything would be great!

It sounds like you'd benefit from a good guide book. Start there.

Next, choose Nepal from the "view by tag" above and/or search for Nepal on this website. You find lots of info. If you have questions once you've done some basic research, come back and ask.

You should also take a look at the Lonely Planet's forum called Thorntree.

Sound like you guys are going to have loads of fun. Around July its going to be pretty warm there so light clothes should be unless if you are going to mountains. You can wear light clothes like tees and jeans and you will need hat and sun glass for sure. There are whole bunch of hotels and motels so it depends on what kind of hotel you are looking for. Are guys just going to stay in kathmandu or will be travelling outside of kathmandu. If yes there are many places outside of kathmandu. I am very sure you guys will enjoy a lot. I will be travelling to nepal around same time so let me know if you have any question.
