How is the weather in Nepal in February? I believe it's still on the colder side but is it workable and enjoyable for seeing various places and doing some trekking? Thanks for your thoughts!

Take a look at that link for historic weather info. Beacuse there is such a range of altitudes in Nepal, some places will be cold, but many will be not so cold. The whole Kathmandu Valley has pretty moderate temps. I've been there in November and December and found the weather very pleasant. For treking, you just need to choose lower altitude trek.
Thanks Kathie - appreciate the quick reply and the website. My friend and I are trying to figure out 'where to next' and February is really the ideal time to go because of our schedules. I guess what I'm trying to determine is whether February would be pushing it with the colder weather to really enjoy the country fully and if we should save Nepal for another (better?) time of year. If we did lower-altitude treks, are we missing out on some of the desired/amazing routes?
I was in the Katmandu Valley in early Feb. and the temperature was springlike and it was sunny every day. I don't know what the mountain weather would be like as we did not go into the mountains.
Thanks shelleyk!
Weather during February would be wonderful as shellyk mentioned here. Mountain side would be more chilly and more colder than low altitude. And the best month for trekking to the mountain side is mid February to late may.
Please leave a message for further assistance.
Enjoy your trip in Nepal...
