Does anyone know if this hotel on Claymore Rd is still in existence? It is no longer listed on the Meritus website. We stayed there 3 years ago and wanted to book it again for a June/July trip.

Seems to be called Negara on Claymore Hotel Singapore now. Hope this helps.
I live just up Claymore Hill from the hotel. It's still there and sporting a new sign, minus the Meritus name. As mentioned, it's calling itself the Negara.
Thanks all! I found out the confusion probably comes from changing owners and name on Jan 1 2007. I hope the rooms and service are better than a Nov 2006 trip report I read which was not very good. In 2003, we liked the location and the room we had, so we'll give it a try again.
