Trip Report Memories: Astana, Expo 2017

Jump to last reply

And so, this is my first trip to Kazakhstan, through Minsk. In which, incidentally, I was not yet (transit is not considered).
Looking ahead Astana impressed me. Even impressed is not the word. The person who came from the small city of Riga in which the tallest building is not more than 30 storeys and has not even been completed yet.
Therefore, huge monuments, office buildings and buildings of the ministries I was very impressed.
About the flight. It went better not where. Belavia is an excellent company, no complaints except, as I thought old aircraft. Well, the food on board was, in principle, home.
The purpose of the trip was Astana Expo 2017. Therefore, I arrived in Astana only two full days.
Expo 2017 is also a large-scale event. The pavilions of some countries are simply huge. Some countries with the mind approached the question and presented their country with dignity, while other countries were only engaged in selling souvenirs and all kinds of nonsense with the symbols of their country and nothing more.
I tried to make the video as short as possible. Of the footage taken for 2 and a half hours, only 3 minutes left.
Enjoy watching
