Medical volunteer opportunities in Thailand or Cambodia??

My daughter (who hopes to become a doctor) was thinking of volunteering at one of Ponheary's schools this summer, but now is thinking that she should try to work in a medical setting instead.

She was offered a place with "Medical Brigades", but they go to Honduras and their info talks about bodyguards and security, making us kind of nervous.

I remember someone mentioning volunteering at the children's hospital in Cambodia, but can't find the report today.

If the person who did that is reading here, can you direct me to your report?

Or does anyone else have ideas for medical based opportunities in Cambodia, Thailand,or India?

Thanks,
Lucy

There is a new hospital partially
opened in Siem Reap called the Angkor International Hospital. There may be opportunities for volunteering here. It is run by the Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok.

You could have her try Dr. Cynthia's Clinic in Thailand== on the Burmese border. Ther is also a children's hospital in PP which was founded by the Swiss DR Richter which is woderful.
