making Skype calls while in Japan
From US, if I were to make a phone call to a Tokyo land line I'd dial
011-81-3-(local-number).
The question is, if I were physically in Japan, and were trying to use SKYPE to make such a phone call, do I still dial the 011-81-3- first before the local number?
Thanks in advance.

no..
with Skype you choose the country you wish to call at the top and then you just dial the 10 digits of the regular number (in the case of calling usa)
for instance if your NY # is: 212-345-9999, that is what you dial.
you need to pre-load Skype with $$. I put $10-20 in and it lasts a long time.. you can also have auto refill of $$ if you wish.
