The Majestic is a fine hotel but it is very expensive, just an idea, you can usually get a 'Suite' at the 'REX' for much cheaper than a base room at the Majestic, just an idea, try this link

http://www.vietnam-hotel-reservations.4t.com

Hi,
We just stayed there last week. It was great, I had booked the room through one of the Asian online booking servies, don't remember exactly which one, for about $75 per night for a standard room which was really nice - better than I had expected. It had a nice marble bathroom and included a great breakfast. I'd definitely go for the Majestic and I would stay there again.

Haven't stayed at the majestic, but I booked a room at the Caravelle last year (an ANA property) for $85 per night that included a phenomenal buffet breakfast for two. The gym and pool area were both very modern and well kept and the hotel was very well located.
