What a trip we've had, just waiting on our transfer to the station to catch the o'night train to Sapa.
Last night was Halong Bay, mmmm maybe I should've taken more notice of all your advice!!! It was fine, would I do it again! No, would I tell my best friend to do it? Probably not .
TR will be done on our return home.
Last for days in Vietnam.

Sorry no spell check!!! Last 4 days.....
As I say to Bob...every trip has to have one thing that is not stellar. If the rest of the trip was a sucess, then you did good.
Looking forward to your report. Wr loved Halong bay, but what a boring ride.
Yes, long, bring drive to Halong Bay, but did enjoy the Bay even in the cloudy weather. Hope u enjoy Sapa. Looking forward to reading your report.
i agree about halong bay
Sitting at Sapa Rooms havin my morning caffeine hit. Bac Ha was pretty amazing. Sensory overload, the markets were a little overwhelming actually. Sapa was a great surprise on arrival, really enjoying it. Feels like living in a cloud!!! And the food markets are wonderful! And the colours are great, just a hint, if you go to Bac Ha and want to buy any of the woven cloth blankets etc, wait till you get to Sapa. Much cheaper.
We had some good meals at the restaurant at Sapa Rooms. Hope you're having sunshine in Sapa -- we arrived to sunshine and then had fog, fog and more fog.
Fog fog so far, fingers crossed do tomorrow! Lunching at Sapa Rooms today, staying at Chapa Gardens.
We stayed at chapa gardens too. Hope that fog lifts. Sapa was a highlight and that bac ha market was amazing. The info center at the end of town was very helpful and we booked guides through them.
The day cleared beautifuly!! Just walked to Cat Cat village.
