Kuala Lumpur - The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Hi! Has anybody used this hotel before? It says it is a 5* hotel in Expedia site. Price seems very good.

This is the link of the hotel at Expedia site.

Forgot to mention. I checked references with Trip Advisor. They sound marvelous, but somehow I have a gut feeling that quite a few of them have been planted by the hotel itself. Maybe I am wrong. I am tempted, though, by the price and promised facilities.

Actually, it seems a bit pricey to me compared to the Millennium, Oriental, etc. The location is a few blocks away from the main Bukit Bintang area, but it's not bad - it's next to the craft center, as I recall.

I tend to trust the reviews on Agoda more, since you have to have booked and stayed at the hotel through them before you can write a review there, so it's harder to skew the results.

The Bukit Bintang area is where you probably want to be. I find better prices on booking sites like www.agoda.com and www.asiarooms.com for instance than on expedia.

Thanks a lot to all those who kindly answered my original post. I was much appreciated and I have decided to book it. Agoda´s reviews are just as favorable than Trip Advisor´s.
