Husband and I are traveling from Seoul to Gyeongju via KTX and a local train. We have purchased First Class tickets. How are the First Class cars identified? Is it obvious and/or posted?
Thanks much.

A few years since I have been on the KTX, but, you will recognize them.
Seating is 2 x 1 from memory. Two seats on one side, aisle , and then a single seat. Nice trains, but, much prefer the Shinkansens in Japan.
Some Googling came up with this:

Thank you gearsau - we are currently in Seoul and enjoying this wonderful city very much. I will check out your info re: KTX.
We did this just last week ~ your ticket will identify the car number. The tracks also have helpful signs, so you will know where to wait for your car.
Just returned from our South Korea trip and can add that First Class cars are identified on the KTX and local train ticket. When you purchase the tickets in advance, you get assigned a "car" and a "seat." Train cars are numbered consecutively and the numbers are posted on the side of each car and on the floor/ground of the waiting area and on sign posts above...very easy to figure out where to wait to board the trains.
