Koh Samui-Bophut

Hi,
I would be going wif my bf to koh samui in april,but would like to gather more information on this island bophut,any nice resort to recommend?i have seen on net that "sandy resort" seems not bad,any comments?
Is april a rainy or windy season at koh samui?Would appreciate lots of comments and info.
