KimJapan--suggestions for buying children story books

Jump to last reply

KimJapan---You have helped me the past and I am again seeking your advice.
I have a chance to visit Okinawa for a few days. I would like to buy some Japanese story books written in English. The age group would be 2 to 5 years old.

Not sure if English version of some Japanese tales can be easily found. Are there any famous children's writers such as Seuss or are their any nursery rhymes like Mother Goose Rhymes.

If possible could be either give me names of some authors, or book titles or at least name of some good bookstores where I could find the above.

Any advice on the subject would be appreciated. You always have wonderful tips and help so many Fodorites. Thanks in advance and have a splendid day.
