Does anyone know how to get to Khoa Sok Nat'l Park, S. Thailand without taking an expensive tour, either from Krabi or Phang Nga?

we stayed in Khoa Soc National Park but we were on a tour with imaginative traveler. You could try contacting them to see if they have any ideas. Also Thailand must have a tourist bureau on line. I wish we had more time in the park, if I ever go back to thailand, I will want to spend a few days there. We stayed in tree houses. It was amazing.
We just came back... out of 3 weeks we did 2 nights at the park... on our own. It is easy to book tours once you arrive. We hiked on our own the first day, and did a one day boat tour of the lake. There are also night safari tours and others. We saw zero animals and met someone who wasn't impressed with the night tour. We stayed at Las Orquideas Resort - which I highly recommend.
hope this helps,
Karla
