Well, friends, we're just about ready to go. Today is packing day and we'll be off tomorrow for Kathmandu and Bangkok.

We'll report in from "the road."

Hope you guys have an amazing time--can't wait to read your trip reports.

Well, I guess the travel season for Fodorite regulars on this board has officially begun. While our next SE Asian trip is almost 6 months away, I look forward to living vicariously through your adventure and others' in the meantime. Have a great trip - I can't wait to hear about Kathmandu and Nepal.

We've just returned from Marrakech, but can't wait for the real deal in S.E.A. in February.

Thanks for your good wishes, everyone!

We will be staying at the ROS, but during the second half of the trip. So we'll arrive in the evening rather than after midnight as we usually do.

We will stay at the Novotel at the airport between our arrival from Seattle and our flight to Kathmandu, so we will be able to report on that hotel.

Have a great trip Kathie! Your absense in Boston will be redeemed by all the details of Nepal and Thailand.

Find us some good new shopping spots and eateries!

My best to Cheryl too. Hope you have lots and lots of memory cards in your cameras.
