just a draft: Singapore to Hong Kong

I'm thinking of doing a 20-25 days South-East Asia trip leaving BCN in late September. I'm investigating flights, connections and sights, but I haven't defined a route yet.

My first idea: to arrive in Singapore and leave from Hong Kong (or vice versa). As I love big cities, I’m thinking of visiting Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Hong Kong. I think that being in the area, I must see Angkor (as a return trip from Bangkok or en-route to Hong Kong?). And I wish do a quick stop at a beach, maybe in Malaysia or in Thailand, but only if I can fit it in the itinerary (also I thought about leave the beach stop to the end, when in Hong Kong, if I have enough time, but I don't know nothing about HK beaches -or close to HK-. Another wish could be catch a train for a while.

I know it's a very ambitious, busy, stressful and maybe mad and impossible itinerary and that every city or country is worth a whole 20-25 days stay. But, please, don't be very tough in your criticism!

I'll be grateful for any suggestions, comments, criticisms on any issues. I have searched the forum and I have read threads about flights between these cities, and I have compiled basic information about land transportation. Also, I'll be grateful for suggestions about how long I would stay in each place (I know Angkor area needs at least 2 days). Some people has told me about Vietnam's friendliness and the beaches of Bali, and I'm tempted to go, but I know, in this case, I must skip one of the cities.

I have visited Japan twice on my own and those trips are my only Asian experience.

I am specifically concerned about vaccines (Spanish Foreign Office recommends some of them for this countries; and I usually attract a lot of mosquito bites at home), border crossing (I know visa requirements for a Spanish citizen) and safety (Japan experience is very unusual). And just in case I do a beach stopover, I don't know exact dates (tentative: from 20th September to 15th October) which coast of the Malacca peninsula, East or West, has less risk of rain.
