Where can I purchase the JR Pass? I'm in the Los Angeles area and don't know if I can get it online? I've looked around but fairly fruitlessly.
Thanks!

Well, at the Japan Rail Pass site:
http://www.japanrailpass.net/eng/en05.html
Click North America and you get a listing of JAL, ANA, JTB, Tokyu, etc offices that sell passes.
I got mine at the ANA ticket office.
I got mine online through H.I.S. site.
