Japan eats: Gustatory adventures in Osaka/Kyoto
A surprise trip to Kansai came up so suddenly, I forgot to look for tips on this forum. Now that I'm home, I remembered. Trip report photos and videos from my 4-day mission to eat my way through possibly the greatest foodie city in Japan:

Hey Mari! Long time no see. Lucky you to get a trip to Osaka!!
I've been telling everyone here on this forum about Osaka being Japan's kitchen for a while now. Not many here seem to like Osaka though....most here are endeared to Kyoto. Glad you had a good time. Was Mels with you?

osaka is da bomb! had been a lifelong oversight. i did my best to correct that in 4 days

mari - HNL GTG will be in Kona this year. Carol,maybe Brad, Ken, Jackie, Linda and I will be there 9-22 to 9-25. Will email you details if you want to come,lol.
Any Non-Stop recos on dinner and lots of drinks in Kona town with sunset views??
You got to get me the address for your friends izakaya in Osaka. We will be back there again to eat in November.
