itinerary SEA

Jump to last reply

It will be my first time in south east Asia.
My travel time will be in the summer, maybe august, but i didn't set the dates yet.
I was thinking about not setting any part of my itinerary and go with the flow while I'm there.
Even though I have that in mind, my idea was:

2 bangkok
4 siem reap
1 battambang
2 bangkok
2 vientiane
2 vang vieng
4 luang prabang
3 slow boat
1 chiang rai
3 chiang mai
4 ko tao
4 bangkok

I don't mind the rain but I'm scared things in Laos won't be as pretty as they can. I saw some pictures of the Luang Prabang waterfalls in summertime and they were not blueish clear like I saw in photographs of wintertime.
Also, i was only thinking about doing a flight between Chiang Mai e Surat thani and the rest of the time take night trains/buses.

What do you guys think?
Thank you!
