Is Rawla Narlai as nice as Deogarh Mahal?

We're planning to drive from Udaipur to Jodhpur with a 1 or night stop en route. Need help in deciding:
1) whether its worth the extra driving to stay at Deogarh Mahal (I understand its further east than Ranakpur or Kumblalgarh where we plan to visit) vs. Rawla Narlai and
2) whether to spend 3 nights at Udaivials in Udaipur (we won't arrive until around 4 on day 1) and 1 night at one of the above places or 2 nights at Udaivilas (1 and 1/2 days) and 2 nights at Deogarh or Rawla Narlai. I've also looked at the websites of Aodhi and Fatehbagh but the rooms don't look as attractive.
Besides the City Palace complex in Udaipur, what were other things you enjoyed? What did you enjoy around Deogarh or Rawla Narlai
