Indian Food Series
Check out "Raja Rasoi Aur Anya Kahaniyan," a new addition to Netflix. It covers the food traditions of India. For some reason it starts with season two.
Not to be missed . . .

We get Indian television from I satellite dish. The other day there was a show on one of those Indian stations about traveling to foreign countries to try their food. This gal was actually in New York City and I thought it was very cool . There is another show where 3 local men travel often throughout India to try regional recipes and I think it's called India on my plate. This too is a very good show because these two men just love to have fun and love to eat and it shows .

Sorry it was two local men and its called Highway on My Plate.
There is a cooking show by chef Sanjeev Kapoor and though it is in Hindi its easy to follow and the recipes are presented in english so its pretty easy and you can go to his website too.

Hi, jacketwatch. Thanks for the response- I was curious what was found interesting in NYC on the show. I live here so have had my experience with Carnegie Deli -- was way too oversized and overpriced for my tastes, but it certainly was a New York institution.
