India - Bangalore, Mysore & Agra
Hello! I am a female traveling to India for the first time during Feb - March. Majority of the time I will be in Mysore with accommodations and food taken care of. The last 5 days I will explore Bangalore and Agra.
My questions are:
During Feb- March will there be mosquitos?
Should I bring a mosquito net while I travel?
What places should I visit in Bangalore that is a must see?
What places in Agra other than Taj Mahal should I visit? (Taj Mahal is part of my itinerary)
Also Which trains or current train sites with schedules should I look at for Mysore to Bangalore and also Delhi to Agra?

Mosquitos were not an issue for us in Mysore in early March, but I also guess it depends on the type of accommodation you plan to stay in.
cleartrip.com is the place where you can book your own train tickets.

Mosquitos may be an issue almost everywhere, you can carry a mosquito repellant cream.
There's PLENTY to see in Agra apart from the Taj Mahal:

Agra Fort, the laundry washing area across the river (for a different view of the Taj Mahal), and Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah (also called the "Baby Taj" or the jewel box) are three I'd recommend in Agra.
There is a special express train from Agra to Delhi. A bit nicer and faster than the others that of that route.
Whether you' want to carry a net depends in part on the quality of your lodging. Fancy hotels have AC, fans and tight windows. Others not so much.

Hi,
The is possibility of mosquitoes during this time of year.
For Delhi to Agra, I would recommend Shatabdi train at 6 am departing from Delhi and reaching at 8 am. Same train returns in the evening around 830pm.
Though its also good to take a car and driver from Delhi for same day Agra trip by car as it will provide you flexibility and more or less same expenses. Taking a train will require transport from hotel to train station in Delhi both way and local car in Agra plus train tickets.
So a driver picking you from Delhi will take to Agra, help in all visits and drop you back in Delhi. IT will be even cheaper if you are two. The prices for a Tata Indigo/ similar car should be around INR 6000/-
