How to spend 12 hours in Kuala Lumpur?
My husband and I have a 12 hour layover in KL from our home in Cambodia before our flight to Sydney next week and need help with ideas how to spend the time.
We've been to KL a couple of times before and don't much care for the city so we'd appreciate any insights into things we might be able to see and do that could change our minds. We like to see local culture and don't care for upscale shopping or western-style malls and we'll be leaving our suitcases in the airport so will be mobile for getting around.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

We went hiking in the man made jungle near the city.. I have a trip report about it and other things we did there.
It was a lovely place. Our driver arranged to meet us according at an agreed location an the map we used, then we went to have a snack at the tea house there inside the park.
We also saw the Batu caves with the monkeys on our way back
