We are thinking to book Cosmos hotel in Taipei and Phoenix in Singapore. I think that their location is good (near metro or skyline), and easy to reach sightseeings.
Anybody used these hotels and can advise?
Thanks in advance.

The Phoenix is great for location, MRT just next to it and it is right on orchard Road, most rooms have their own PC, so that is a bonus for most (but still Win98!). The hotel though does not have a pool and except for the lobby and the basement cafe there are no other facilities, having siad that you walk straight from the hotel into a mall, and again, location is good, should be about SGD 138 a night!
Just to add that in the same price range the Crown Prince is very good value for money, actually more 'central' on Orchard and also close to Scotts Road, it has more facilities that the Phoenix.
We were very happy with the pheonix except we didn't realise that there is no pool.
Would recommend it if the pool didn't worry you.
