I would appreciate any input on Hotels on Macau. My adult son will be there from Nov 30 till Dec 8th. His budget is very modest ex.$100-150 per night.
Thank you

$100-150 is not modest for a hotel room in Macau, but that's strangely a budget that has no apparent choice.
There's a gap in hotel availability in Macau. The really good ones - Landmark, Westin, Mandarin Oriental, Pousada de Sao Tiago - cost close to $200 a night. Then the rest are usually $100 or under. Many of them are pretty decent. Some are newer, like Golden Dragon or Casa Real but without much charm; some are less convenient for the gamblers like Royal; and some are on Taipa Island, a bridge away from most casinos like the New Century (which does have its own very large one).
The brand new Wynn Casino & Resorts also belong to the first group. Rates are about $220 for the dates you want.
