We stayed there in 2002. You will love it - the staff will go out of their way to help you with virtually anything. I read a post recently where they supplied a driver for the day at no charge - you could e-mail the hotel directly about this. We had a driver (Putu, mentioned frequently on this forum) for the whole trip so we didn't need one. We really enjoyed dining at the Tugu as they will serve you anywhere on the grounds - by the lotus pond, by the pool, on the beach, even in the restaurant The food was so good that we did not bother to go out. If you do choose to venture out for dinner, Seminyak (KuDeTa, The Living Room, etc.) is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. We stayed in a Dedari suite with the largest bed I've ever slept on - the plunge pool was very private and refreshing. It would be interesting to hear how you think the Tugu compares to the FS - they are quite different.
