Hotel Plaza Athenee Bangkok
Hi
Has anyone stayed in this hotel? Any feedback would be welcome. I'm also keen to find out its exact location - which is the nearest Skytrain station?
There is nothing on their website to confirm this.
Thanks
Cathy

it's on wireless.
her's my five cents. the US embassy is failry close to the hotel.. and as a world traveler. I try too keep away from US embassies. or those of which the nation im in has "beef" with.. but thats just me.. the location is pritty good though.

it is very close to the skytrain...roughly it is at the junction of wireless rd and plenochit rd, which is a continuation of sukumvit rd....it is next to the erwan shrine---i've spelled this incorrectly....and up the street from the four seasons and the hyatt....across the street from the american ambassadors house...great easy location for tourists or business

Bob, Plaza Athenee is not exactly next to Erawan shrine - Plaza Athenee is prob nearest Ploenchit sky train stop. Cathy, do u have a particular reason for staying here e.g. very good rate? Else hotel does not have much character and think Grand Hyatt is a better location in the same part of the city.
