Ok I am becoming a pain--but it looks like it is much cheaper for us to fly from Bk to Macau then HK
Is this true or am I missing something?
I do not mind flying into Macau looks interesting, but if we do that will probably spend a nite there for sure and then take the hydro over to HK.
Also looks cheaper to fly out of macau into SIN.
Just checking, am curious if I missed something.
Am looking at around August 21st to leave BK to HK
Thanks all.

You are right, there are budget airlines that fly in/out of Macau.
Thanks Kathie, you are always soo good at answering. I appreciate it.
So the budget airlines are the way we will go--there is a huge difference in price.
And it looks like the hydro over is only an hour and not expensive so thinking it will be fun
BKK-HKG is very competitive. If you don't mind the airlines you're flying or the time, you may find some good fares that are as low, or even lower, than BKK-MFM.
Flying through Macau adds a bit of hassle if you have no intention of going to Macau. If sounds like you will enjoy spending a night there anyways, so might as well try it.
Well I have been flip flopping on where else to go between Bk and Hk but decided really did not have enough days with down travel time to do any other place justice. So have decided to do one nite in Macau and then head to HK.
Rkkwan--have looked at all of your posts really appreciate the info you provide to this site. Thank you so much.
